The complete history of Our Lady of Consolation

This history book (third edition, published in 2012) explains the origins of our Shrine to Our Lady of Consolation and how it arrived in Carey, Ohio.

There is a section on the dresses made for the statue, how the Conventural Franciscan Friars arrived in Carey, plus details about the Shrine becoming a National Basilica in 1971.

The book also includes the history of the School, Pilgrim House, Seminary, Shrine Park, Shrine Gift Shop, Shrine Cafeteria, and the Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven -- which is still to this day a major day of celebration on our campus!
